Which Languages can I learn with Easy Phrase?

You can currently learn any combination of English, French and Spanish and we plan to add more languages soon.

Can I learn two languages at once?

You can currently learn any of English, French and Spanish. Unfortunately you can't currently learn multiple languages using the same account, please register for multiple accounts and select the different languages your would like to learn. Note that you will need a unique email address for each.

Is Easy Phrase really free to use?

We do not currently charge for using Easy Phrase but do plan to add premium features in the future which may be charged for.

How does Easy Phase work?

Easy Phrase uses a unique mix of science and technology, blending innovative new personalisation and imaging technology with tried and tested methods which help you learn quicker.

Will Easy Phrase work on my device?

Absolutely, Easy Phrase works on all devices! We are even working on new features which will allow you to enjoy learning using your voice enabled devices such as Alexa.

Getting started

Can I change the display language used?

Yes, simply select the language you would like Easy Phrase to display information in using the dropdown on the main navigation bar at the top of the screen. When you register, you will pick the native / source language to learn from. This will be used to display the pages when you are logged in.

How do I add phrases to my personalised language course?

Easy Phrase makes it really easy to build your personalised language course quickly, there are three ways you can add words and phrases in the ‘My vocabulary’ section:

1. Take a photo - take a photo of something related to the word or phrase you want to learn. For example, if you would like to learn how to ask for a cup of coffee then take a picture of a coffee cup.
2. Use a chatbot - type in a word or phrase to the Easy Phrase chatbot in the following format: ‘Translate [I love you] in [French]’ or ‘How do you say [I love you] in [Spanish]’ replacing the words in brackets with your chosen word/phrase and the language you are learning.
3. Type the word - type a word or phrase in to lookup and add translation.

More ways to add vocabulary will be added soon including the ability to say your words and phrases.

How can I personalise my language course?

There are currently a few ways you can personalise your Easy Phrase language course:

1. Use your own photo library to integrate your own memorable photographs into your vocabulary; Using memorable images has been proven to get better results quicker through image association, you can also use your own personal Google Photos library.
2. Use the get started section to tell us a bit about yourself and why you are learning, Easy Phrase will use this information to build your vocabulary list.

How do I practice the phrases in my personalised language course?

Learning with Easy Phrase is simple using established methods which get results.

Every word and phrase you add to your language course will appear in the Practice section of Easy Phrase. You will be able to see an image related to each word or phrase along with a spoken audio sample and the translation (note this is hidden by default to test your memory!). Simply click the tick or cross icon to select whether you are happy to move on or would like the word or phrase to appear again in your course.

We use proven methods such as spaced repetition to prompt you to learn your phrases, this optimises recall by showing the right phrases to you at the optimised time for learning.

To help you remember to login to Easy Phrase to learn your words and phrases, you will receive an email telling you how many phrases you have to practice and when to practice them for maximum benefit. You can opt-out of receiving these emails at any time.

What if I have a problem I need help with?

If you encounter an issue with Easy Phrase then you can contact the Easy Phrase team at: easyphraseio@gmail.com - please note that our support team communicate in English. Support for French and Spanish speakers is coming soon.

What if I forget my password?

Please email easyphraseio@gmail.com and we will reset your password for you, we are working on a password reset facility which will mean you’ll soon be able to do this yourself!

How do I delete my account?

If you no longer wish to use Easy Phrase and would like your details deleted, please email easyphraseio@gmail.com and we will close your account and remove them for you. Your stored phrases will then be unrecoverable.
